Silver Lake-Pacific Crest Trail
DESCRIPTION:
Silver is shallow enough to offer relatively warm swimming by August. Fishing action for Brook trout (planted 2000) is all season. Trail continues north and west of Silver, skirts above small Hellgamite Lake, and climbs to the Sierra Crest and joins the Pacific Crest Trail or Deer Lake OHV Road offering several loop options.

Follow Bear Lakes Loop Trail and turn right on Silver Lake Trail.
