Great place to go all-out or take an easy stroll. The loop is popular, but sprawls over enough area to find some solitude, especially if you avoid prime times. The trail courses through a satisfying combination of dark forest, oaks, and large meadows. Wildflowers galore, and fall colors last well into winter. Rolling terrain invites you to start anywhere, end anywhere, or go for the gusto and do the loop.

The loop makes an excellent short ride on easy trail that is next to a paved road, paved parking, and close to Auburn. Fall is especially nice.
The best trailer parking is above the Drivers Flat Road on the Foresthill Divide Road.
10 miles, single track. More difficult. Map. Built by mountain bikers, this great layout is a favorite for everyone.
