Canyon Creek Trail - North Yuba River


   

DESCRIPTION:

Year-round access along river ending at Canyon Creek, a truly wild stream. This section of North Yuba is the most remote section along its whole length, plus deep holes and big rapids. Adventuresome anglers scramble up Canyon Creek (well named) to good fishing for rainbow 10"-14". It’s wild!

To Canyon Creek Trail - North Yuba River

Topographic Map: Strawberry Valley. After crossing North Yuba River, trailhead is on left (west) (C). Follow gated road to miners camps at Shenanigan Flat and trail continues down river.
