Take the Yuba Gap exit from I-80. Cross to south side of the interstate then follow the Lake Valley Road southeast. At the "Y" stay to the left and follow the signs to the entrance of Thousand Trails Snowflower Preserve (RV Camping). Get the entry code for the gate and directions at Office/Country Store. Stay on public rights of way 2.8 miles to Kelly Lake over a narrow dirt road. Trailers/RVs not recommended.

ACTIVITIES:

Fishing (Rating: Good)

Stocked with Rainbows. Due to shoreline weeds, a floatable tube or small boat will help reach the fishing opportunity towards the center of the lake.

Best fishing opportunity is in the spring after the ice melts.

Boating Lakes & Reservoirs (Rating: Poor)

Way too small for anything but a car top fishing boat or canoe for fishing.
