The lake is stocked with rainbow and Brookie catchables annually. The deep lake offers both shoreline fishing and boat fishing provided by the Upper Salmon Lake Lodge, which is accessed only by a shuttle boat.

Small to moderate lake but adequate visibilty and no power boats except for the the resort ferry. Great place to stay - if you can get in. Reservations usually have to be a year ahead.
