The lake is on private property marred by a power line corridor across the north end of the lake.

No swimming is permitted as Angela provides domestic water, but the lake still offers a nice lunch stop along the loop off of the Pacific Crest Trail South to Highway 40.

Pacific Crest Trail South towards Old Highway 40. The lake lies over a small ridge to the right (west) of the PCT just before it dives down towards Old Highway 40. There are no trail markings but you should see users trails worn across the ridge. See Donner Summit Map.
