Ten dispersed Shoreline Campsites lie along the road around the west side of Meadow Lake as you approach the developed campground and the old Summit City town site. Some sites are large enough to accommodate small trailers or RVs. There are no designated parking areas. These are totally primitive sites. No water; there are no toilets at these sites but the Meadow Lake Campground has vault toilets about 1 mile away. These shoreline sites are what I call roughing it!

Follow the Meadow Lake Road until it continues along the west shore of the reservoir.
Small boats, small motors or flatwater paddling are best.
