There are 12 tent or trailer sites. You’ll have to bring drinking water or purify river water. This is a fee area and no reservations accepted. Sits along the Little Truckee River above Boca Reservoir.

Seven miles east of Truckee on I-80 take the Hirschdale exit. Drive about 4 miles north on the paved Stampede Dam Road. You continue past Boca Reservoir.
